2014 - 2016

Proof-of-concept

Objective: To determine safety

Participants: 16 patients treated

Location: 2 sites in Spain

Achievements:

  • Most downloaded paper during 2016 from Human Reproduction
  • Established the foundation for future clinical trials
2020 - 2024

Phase I/II

Objective: To determine optimal dosage and protocol

Participants:  20 patients treated

Location: 3 sites in Spain

Achievements: 

  • Successfully identified optimal treatment protocols. No serious adverse events reported.
  • Significant increase in endometrial volume and thickness after CD133+ cell therapy treatment. Reduction of intrauterine adhesions. 6 live-birth rates (30%).
  • Results published (2026) and patent submitted.
2025 - 2026

Upcoming Phase III trial

  • Multicentre clinical trial for regulatory validation and marketing authorisation in Europe.
  • Two sites in Spain.
